Christmas Party at Maryland Special School, Lagos
At Maryland Special School in Lagos, BOBNEL hosted a heartwarming Christmas party for children with special needs and those from less-privileged backgrounds. Supported by Honourable Mrs. O. Iweze Ibok-Ima, the celebration was filled with joy, gifts, and blessings that reminded the children they are cherished and valued. The event radiated love and reinforced the power of community support.




Christmas Party at IDP Camp Wassa, Abuja
In partnership with Community Impact Affinity (CIA), BOBNEL brought the spirit of Christmas to children at the Wassa IDP Camp in Abuja. The celebration was filled with face painting, dancing, music, and shared meals, creating a day of laughter and joy. For many children, it was a rare chance to experience the warmth of the festive season in a safe and inclusive environment.





Bobnel Foundation Seeks Support for World-Class Centre
To celebrate its 20th anniversary, BOBNEL Child Support Foundation hosted a landmark fundraiser aimed at launching a world-class orphanage for vulnerable and physically challenged children. In a heartfelt appeal, Founder Mrs. Cornelia Udoenoh called on the public to join in providing shelter, care, and hope for children in need across Nigeria.
World Mental Health Day at University of Uyo Teaching Hospital
BOBNEL took part in the World Mental Health Day celebration themed ‘Prioritizing Mental Health in the Workplace.’ The foundation joined a sensitization march and engaged in presentations alongside key health stakeholders. Through this platform, BOBNEL shared its objectives and highlighted its impact across Nigeria.
Launch of Bobnel Orphanage in Abuja
The Bobnel Orphanage was officially launched in Abuja, marking a historic milestone in the foundation’s mission to care for vulnerable children. More than just a shelter, the orphanage provides education, emotional support, and a nurturing environment where orphans and disadvantaged youth can grow, learn, and dream of a brighter future.

BOBNEL kicked off its Christmas season outreach at the Wassa IDP Camp, filling the day with fun activities, laughter, and festive cheer for displaced children. During Easter, BOBNEL brought together children and families at the camp for a joyful celebration filled with games, music, and fellowship. The celebration was a reminder that even in difficult times, love and community can bring light.
Free Eye Screening
Recognizing the importance of accessible healthcare, BOBNEL organized a free medical outreach focused on eye screenings for underserved communities. The initiative offered preventive care, early detection of vision issues, and referrals for further treatment, ensuring that vulnerable groups had a chance at healthier, brighter futures.
Skills Empowerment for Widows at Wassa IDP Camp
To empower widows facing hardship, BOBNEL launched a practical skills program that trained them in producing essential household items such as liquid soap, bleach, Izal, air freshener, and antiseptics. With these new skills, the women not only gained the ability to provide for their families but also opened doors to small-scale businesses, turning knowledge into sustainable income.

Recognizing the resilience of displaced women, BOBNEL provided seed funding of ₦10,000 each to help them start small businesses. This initiative empowered women to take charge of their livelihoods, build a sense of dignity, and create sustainable means of supporting their families. By planting the seeds of entrepreneurship, the foundation gave hope for lasting economic independence.

The foundation visited children at the Igbobi Orthopedic Hospital Special School, offering care, support, and encouragement. Through this outreach, Bobnel extended love and attention to physically challenged children, fostering inclusion, dignity, and hope.

Fundraiser for World-Class Centre
As part of our 20th anniversary, Bobnel hosted a fundraising event to establish a world-class orphanage for children in need. The event brought partners together, raised vital awareness, and created a foundation for lasting change.
Plans to Raise ₦1bn for Orphanage
The foundation announced an ambitious plan to raise ₦1 billion to build a home for 50 physically challenged and less-privileged children on land generously donated by an anonymous supporter. This vision inspired widespread community and donor backing, strengthening efforts to create sustainable child welfare infrastructure.
